Motorola Mobility Holdings and Polycom have agreed on collaborative development around delivering Polycom enterprise-class, high-definition personal telepresence on Motorola Xoom tablets.
Polycom’s telepresence video application on Xoom tablets promises to deliver improved enterprise collaboration and productivity by enabling users to easily connect and share content virtually anywhere via one-to-one or group video experiences.
Planned for release in the second half of 201, the app will allow Motorola device users to connect with an ecosystem of nearly two million standards-based telepresence and video conferencing systems in use today.
Also, Polycom’s UC Intelligent Core will allow businesses to easily extend enterprise visual communications to mobile users without additional network configuration.
