Qualcomm, Gameloft team up for HD games

Qualcomm has signed an agreement with Gameloft to ramp up their collaboration on the growing Snapdragon family of processors to optimize the latter’s games for Android-based devices.

Titles covered include SpiderMan Total Mayhem HD, Real Football 2011 HD, GT Racing: Motor Academy HD and Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.

The joint undertaking is expected to expand to other titles over the course of the year.

Gameloft VP Baudouin Corman said Snapdragon processors will help enable the development of immersive games such as Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD' N.O.V.A. - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and others.
