RAD Data Communications has announced plans to showcase its upcoming ETX-1002 10G carrier Ethernet aggregation switch at next week's CommunicAsia trade show.
The ETX-1002 has been designed to serve as a central aggregation solution for the vendor's carrier Ethernet demarcation devices which have been installed at customer premises and service endpoints.
It is designed for deployment in 1G and 10G Ethernet access rings, and has service assurance features such as sub-50ms switchover protection, multi-priority traffic management capabilities and Ethernet OAM diagnostics.
