Real-time usage reporting addresses bill shock

CTI Group is offering its Analysis RT solution that does away with paper-based billing and provides customers with detailed reporting of their invoices.

Analysis is designed to add reporting of real-time usage, enabling users to be notified of bill shock events before they grow out of proportion and before they receive their bill.

CTI Group cites a survey by the US Federal Communications Commission which shows that one out of six mobile users has experienced bill shock – leading to frustration, heated calls with customer care, customer dissatisfaction and customer churn.

If just 10% of these unhappy customers decide to move suppliers as a result, then CSPs have a heavy cost to bear.
