RockeTalk has entered into a partnership with LG Electronics India, in which the RockeTalk mobile social networking application will be pre-loaded on all new LG KT610 and KF750 (Secret) mobile phone models. The handsets are available to consumers in India starting this month.
The agreement also includes pre-loading of the RockeTalk application on several other LG mobile handsets in India throughout 2008 and 2009.
The California-headquartered firm first launched a private-beta in India in November 2007. The latest version of the RockeTalk application to be pre-loaded on these LG mobile phones now includes a multiple instant messenger chat feature compatible with Yahoo, Google Talk, MSN, AIM and ICQ.
Jim Greiner, president and CEO of RockeTalk, said the application was currently the only one in India that provides both mobile IM chat and a full-featured end-to-end mobile social network with voice, photo, and video messaging, communities, and user-generated and professional content.
