RoomWise has launched a “second screen” feature that allows hotel guests to remotely access their in-room entertainment content in broadcast quality from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
The service includes live TV channels and video-on-demand, as well as ordering room service and all other hospitality apps currently available on the RoomWise platform.
The system’s open platform approach also allows hotels to integrate their own services and applications with the RoomWise platform, for example to deliver eNewspapers to guests.
Based on innovative Native Video Turnaround technology, RoomWise supports live and on-demand high-definition video on iPads and iPhones.
