SAP has purchased privately-held real-time billing solutions provider Highdeal, to enable it to provide customers with a packaged consume-to-cash business process platform that supports high-volume billing and reduces total cost of ownership.
The Highdeal acquisition plays well in SAP\'s plans to offer customers a fully integrated solution that will enable them to seamlessly offer and support new business models to drive growth.
Building on its existing billing functionality, SAP intends to support a full array of real-time rating and charging requirements. SAP expects to complete the transaction by June.
