Bridgewater Systems and Mformation Technologies have integrated Mformation's Service Manager with Bridgewater's service control and subscriber data management solution. The integration will allow Wimax operators to automatically detect, provision and manage Wimax devices over the air using industry-standard IP and OMA DM protocols.
According to the two companies, this reduces service introduction costs, enables new flexible supply channels for Wimax devices, and immediate subscriber access to Wimax services.
The Bridgewater solution features a real-time subscriber data management capability that can share dynamic data such as location, presence, IP address, roaming status, and registration status with the Mformation Service Manager.
