SingTel will deploy Witbe's quality of experience (QoE) monitoring solution for the operator's triple play mio services.
SingTel's mio services include IPTV, VoIP and fixed broadband. The operator will install Witbe's solution in data centers throughout Singapore, and in certain subscriber homes.
The QoE solution consists of robots capable of replicating subscriber actions such as changing channels, accessing video-on-demand, making phone calls and downloading content.
The results are then analysed in terms of availability, performance and quality.
The solution also publishes key performance and quality indicators related to factors such as DNS performance and throughput for fixed broadband, and call availability and audio quality for voice.
