Smartphones accounted for 48% of AdMob's worldwide traffic in February, up from 35% in February 2009, fueled by heavy application usage.

AdMob's latest Mobile Metrics Report also show that while the share of feature phone traffic declined from 58% to 35% year-over-year, absolute traffic still grew 31%.

Mobile internet devices account for 17% of traffic, mainly through the iPod touch, Sony PSP and Nintendo DSi.
