Sony Ericsson has named Peter Ang general manager and head of Singapore and Malaysia to oversee the handset maker’s local operations.
Ang reports directly to Ian Gardner, corporate vice president and head of the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this appointment, Ang was Sony Ericsson’s marketing vice president for the Asia Pacific region, and has spent over a decade in the telecom industry.
