The theft of an iPad has led to a bizarre legal claim of wireless trespassing in Australia.

Alden Harder, the man accused of the theft, claims the device's owner trespassed "via radio wave" by activating an alarm on the tablet using a built-in anti-theft feature - Find my iPad - while it was in Harder's house.

The owner used the finder function to locate the stolen device via GPS, and also faces a claim of good old fashioned physical trespassing for peeking in the offender's window.
