OSS/BSS vendor Subex has launched version 6.1 of its NetProvision OSS suite for wireline services.

The solution is used to automate the provision and activation of enterprise VPN and residential broadband services.

NetProvision enables flow-through provisioning of carrier Ethernet and IP-based offerings. It is compliant with all of the Metro Ethernet Forum's services – including E-line, E-Lan and E-Tree.

The modular system can also support layer 3 services such as BGP/MPLS IP VPNs. It has been specifically designed to provide OSS services across hardware from multiple vendors.

NetProvision 6.1 also includes Oracle support.
