Suddenlink Communications has signed a long-term contract extension for NetCracker Technology's converged BSS solutions.

Suddenlink is a multiple system operator in the United States, supporting the information, communication, and entertainment demands of 1.4 million residential customers as well as thousands of commercial customers in areas that include Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia.

In addition to hosting its BSS solution, NetCracker is providing Suddenlink with secure SOA standards-based web services that improve access to billing and customer data through interfaces with external applications, such as web portals, IVRs, and mobile devices.

Direct and immediate access to this data in a secure manner will enable Suddenlink to complete projects that require integration to the billing system faster, at less cost, and with fewer risks.
