Sybase 365, a provider of mobile messaging services, estimates that more than 1.2 billion SMS messages were sent between 4:00pm and 9.00pm PST as polling stations closed across the country. We assume all messages prior to poll closing pleaded 'Did you remember to vote‾' and all those after polls closed lamented or celebrated the results of said vote.
