Digital Route and NEWCON have implemented their joint product, the next generation international billing mediation device (ngiBMD), across T-Mobile's operations.
Deutsche Telecom's T-Mobile selected the platform in an attempt to cut the TCO for billing mediation services by 20% across five operating countries.
The platform has been installed in Austria, and is currently being rolled out across the rest of the company's operations.
“Due to the fact that we can hardly influence the revenue side we must increasingly see to the expenditures,” T-Mobile vice president of shared IT enablers Joachim Heybrock said.
The solution uses Digital Route's MediationZone, as well as custom modules developed by NEWCON.
