Eatery Eva is offering discounts on its meals to diners who hand their mobile device over at the door, in a bid to cut down on phone usage at the dinner table.
Owner and chef Mark Gold hopes the gimmick will encourage people to connect with each other over their meal, and stem growing acceptance of mobile phone usage in social situations.
