Tagggit has launched the first application to incorporate an accurate indoors GPS system on Nokia S60 phones. Tagggit's geo-tagging mobile application can find a phone's position indoors, within a few seconds and accurate to fifteen feet.
Members can geo-blog, review a location or search for geo-tags from their phone while sitting comfortably indoors in large cities and without waiting for a traditional GPS fix.
Loughlin Spollen, founder of the location-based social network, said this app dubbed 'City Mode' is currently used by members to find each other in downtown areas, to leave recommendations and surprise tags for friends.
