Azimuth Systems said the research arm of Taiwan’s Institute for Information Industry will be using the ACE MX wireless channel emulator in its 2x2 bidirectional configuration for advanced testing of its Wimax development and protocol analysis system.

The purpose-built, enhanced testing solution is designed to meet the demanding needs of multiple-input, multiple-output and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing-based systems.

The ACE MX wireless channel emulator also features dedicated bi-directional channel modeling.

This enables accurate emulation of real world wireless over-the-air conditions in both the downlink and uplink paths simultaneously.
