Tekelec has named Boudewijn Pesch vice president to lead sales operations in Europe and Asia, and Luis Pajares vice president of Americas sales.

They take over the responsibilities held by Wolrad Claudy, executive vice president of sales, who resigned from these responsibilities and will remain as an advisor to Tekelec through July.

Pesch came to Tekelec in August 2010 as managing director of the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Tekelec from Acision, where he led a cross-functional team of 180 staff across 10 offices. He was part of the LogicaCMG team that became Acision at the company’s 2007 founding. He started with CMG in 1998 and has been in Singapore since 2001.

Pajares joined Tekelec in June 2010 as vice president of the Americas. Prior to Tekelec, he has held senior marketing and sales positions at various companies, including Airvana, Inet Technologies, Alcatel/DSC Communications and NEC America.
