Ericsson appoints Bansal, Lindblad to head new business units

Ericsson has appointed heads for two new business units which were created recently by a split of the company's Networks unit.

The company has named Arun Bansal senior vice president and head of business unit radio. Bansal has joined Ericsson for nearly 20 years and is currently the company’s head of South East Asia & Oceania region.

Anders Lindblad, currently head of Middle East region, will take over the role of senior vice president and head of business unit cloud & IP. Lindblad has held a variety of positions in business development and commercial operation across countries and regions during his 17 years with Ericsson.

Both Bansal and Lindblad will assume their new roles on July 1. They will remain members of Ericsson's Global Leadership Team.

The company will announce their successors separately, Ericsson said.
