Shaygan Kheradpir to take helms at Juniper Networks

Juniper Networks said Shaygan Kheradpir will take over from Kevin Johnson as the company’s chief executive from January 1. He will also be appointed to the company’s board of directors.

Johnson, who in July announced his retirement, will remain as a member of the board.

Kheradpir joins Juniper Networks from global financial services provider Barclays, where he served as the chief operations and technology officer, and as a member of its executive committee.

Prior to joining Barclays, he was executive vice president and chief information and technology officer at Verizon Communications, and was an original member of the management team when Verizon was created.

During his tenure, he helped to create and implement technologies and products that anticipated future market needs such as Verizon's Fiber Optic Service (FiOS).

David Huguet has joined Acision as senior vice president and general manager, Middle East, Africa and Pakistan (MEAP).

In his new role, Huguet is responsible for the management of Acision’s MEAP operations, reporting directly to Acision’s chief executive, Adolfo Hernandez.

Huguet has over 15 years of management and sales experience in telecoms and IT. Prior to Acision, Huguet served as vice president of solutions for Middle East and Africa at Oasis Smart SIM - a company he co-founded.

He also held senior management positions at Saudi Telecom Company (STC) subsidiary Intigral, an end-to-end solution provider focused on delivering digital media content services to regional telecommunication operators.
