Accenture names Janet Yap MD for Malaysia
Accenture has appointed Janet Yap as country managing director in Malaysia to enhance the consulting firm’s business in the Southeast Asia country.
Yap assumed her new role on June 1. One of the few women technology leaders in Malaysia, she is also the inclusion and diversity lead for Accenture’s Malaysia office.
Yap has been part of the Accenture team for 26 years. She built her career in systems implementation and SAP consulting through projects across the resources, products and communications, media & technology industries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise hires APAC chief
Matthieu Destot has joined Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as vice president of sales for Asia Pacific. He is charged with responsibility of driving growth in the APAC region and focused on addressing the increasing demand for seamless cloud-based collaboration and broader network and communication solutions across all segments and key verticals.
Previously Destot was VP of France in charge of network, communications and cloud activities in the French market across small & medium business to large corporations.
Prior to leading the sales division in France, he was the worldwide director for the France Telecom / Orange global account and held a role as marketing & business development director.
