Telstra appoints Nick Lambert as executive director of global industries

Nick Lambert has joined Telstra as executive director of global industries.

Based in Singapore, Lambert will be responsible for leading the expansion of the Australian telco’s industry verticals including financial services, mining, utilities, manufacturing, public sector, retail and services across the region.

Previously, Lambert was executive vice president of Vodafone Global Enterprise. Prior to this, he spent more than six years at Cable & Wireless Worldwide where he was most recently the director of all global operating companies and member of the executive board. In this role, he managed a team of more than 1300 employees across all regions outside of the UK.

Irdeto names Richard Scott SVP of sales and marketing

Irdeto, a subsidiary of multinational media group Naspers, has appointed Richard Scott to lead the company’s global sales and marketing team.

As SVP of sales and marketing, Scott will be responsible for strategic planning for key accounts, new business acquisition and developing new growth opportunities.

Before joining Irdeto, Scott spent over six years as SVP of global sales & service at Harris Broadcast. Prior to that, he had held senior positions at Ascent Media, Pinnacle Systems, Sony and Panasonic.

Scott will be based and work from one of Irdeto’s largest global offices in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
