Telenor has named executive vice president Hilde Tonne as deputy head of its Asian operations.
In this newly created role, Tonne will lead performance management, governance, operational efficiency measures and industrial development across business units in the region.
She will resume her new role in August 1, and be based in the company’s Asia head office in Bangkok.
Tonne joined Telenor for her current position in 2007. She came from Norsk Hydro, where she in her last position was the Head of Technology & Research in Hydro Oil & Energy.
