Telx unveils Ethernet exchange

Telx has become the latest co-location provider to reveal an Ethernet exchange service for operators and enterprises.

The Telx Ethernet Exchange uses Cisco routers and software management technology to provide the peering service.

Telx said it would make the exchange available in seven interconnection data centers over the next nine months.

The first customers should be part of a charter program which commences in Q3, the company added.
