Texas Instruments has added Laird Technologies in its network of partners designing products based on the former's chip technology.

As a member of TI's RF Developer Network, Laird is an official provider of radio frequency (RF) modules and design services utilizing TI's silicon.

The partnership allows Laird to gain early adopter information from TI's own design teams in order to develop products faster.

TI, meanwhile, benefits by leveraging on Laird's RF design expertise to those customers who do not have in-house design capabilities in using its silicon solutions.

TI customers can also go to directly to Laird for design services.
