Optical networking vendor Transmode has launched two new 10Gbps access solutions for high-capacity services.
The solutions – one providing Ethernet demarcation, the other optical transport demarcation – have been designed for markets such as financial services, media and data center interconnection.
The Ethernet product uses integrated Layer 2 Ethernet technology, and supports UNI and E-NNI functions for E-LINE, E-LAN and E-TREE services.
It can also manage different bandwidth profiles and service classes on a per port or per VLAN basis.
