HP announced that Turkcell is using HP cloud solutions to generate new revenue through “as a service” offerings to businesses.

Turkcell, with 34.5 million customers, is the leading communications and technology company in Turkey. Turkcell is using HP CloudSystem Service Provider to provide its business customers with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and communications as a service (CaaS). The new offerings are presented to customers in a customized, online marketplace.

With IaaS and CaaS, Turkcell business customers can take advantage of utility pricing and the flexibility of an on-demand services model. Benefits include more predictable operating costs, low capital investment and minimal risk in new technology adoption.

Specific services, such as email, can be easily enabled within HP CloudSystem Service Provider, allowing Turkcell to quickly enter a growing market with business-ready offerings and to achieve an advantage over would-be competitors.

A single software platform that can aggregate numerous as-a-service offerings, the HP solution gives Turkcell the flexibility to adapt quickly to market changes and customer needs. Turkcell can easily add new offerings as well as create customized cloud service bundles that simplify procurement and usage for enterprise customers.
