UQ Communications has chosen NEC\'s PasoWings BS202 mobile Wimax base station, which is equipped with UL-BF technologies.

These are used to improve communications speed and increase base station coverage area by reducing radio frequency interference between base stations and data transmission terminals.

A wide variety of functions and an external interface enables the system to be integrated with a broad range of vendors\' equipment.

NEC\'s compact base stations were created using a 3D design, which allows high-density packaging and the use of a panel layout that provides effective heat dissipation.
