Webwire: iPhone 5 may have NFC; ITC to review Apple-Moto case

The latest rumors about the upcoming iPhone 5 suggest that it will come with a NFC chip embedded into the device. NFC capabilities would allow Apple to take on Google Wallet and Microsoft's planned mobile wallet offering.
The US ITC will review one of its judge's findings that Apple has violated a Motorola patent with the iPhone and iPad, and consider whether to order an import ban. A federal judge has meanwhile thrown out a separate patent battle between the companies for a second time.
Microsoft will pay $1.2 billion to acquire Yammer Inc, operator of the in-company social network Yammer, which currently has around 5 million users.
