When will China go 3G‾ Whenever it wants

Admit it - deep in yr heart, you saw this coming a mile away.

Of course, just because CCTV didn't mention any other 3G technologies doesn't mean they won't see the light of day by the time the opening ceremonies kick off.

Still, the whole "When will China go 3G‾" thing got old ages ago. The Chinese mobile market has gotten this far without 3G, and could probably go until the end of the decade without it. Wake me when it gets here.
