Malaysia's YTL Communications has chosen to implement ROC FM, the fraud management system developed by Subex.

YTL intends to launch Malaysia's first national 4G network later this year, providing coverage based on 2.3GHz wireless broadband.

The operator said it was expecting rapid subscriber take-up of the new services, which would intensify the need for strong fraud management controls.

ROC FM uses AI techniques to prioritize the investigation of potential fraud cases, Subex added. Controls include pre-check functionality, e-fingerprinting analysis and AI analysis of potential fraud cases and false alarms.
