YuppTV is collaborating with ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies), India’s fourth-largest Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the wired broadband category and pioneer in fiber-to-the-home technology.

As a part of the partnership, the entire array of YuppTV’s diverse content of 200+ Live TV channels, 2000+ movies, 100+ TV shows and 1000+ short movies will be available for as low as 99 rupees (about $1.50) per month for ACT subscribers in Hyderabad as an add-on package.

With top TV channels and latest movies from Tollywood among the content on offer, the move comes as a very attractive development for the audience in the city of Hyderabad.

ACT is currently leading in net wired broadband subscriber additions in calendar year 2016 and continues to offer consumers “the fastest, most consistent and unparalleled internet experience” through fiber optics.

YuppTV’s latest collaboration will enable its content to be bundled with high-speed internet connectivity for the city’s users. YuppTV’s provision of Catch-up TV, which allows users to watch their favorite programs from the last seven days at their convenient time, will also be a major attraction for viewers.

“Streaming videos require high-fidelity networks with consistent speeds to deliver a buffer-free experience,” said YuppTV CEO Uday Reddy. “With this partnership, we are attempting to enhance accessibility to YuppTV content and solve internet connectivity concerns for our users through ACT’s high-speed broadband framework.”
