Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who grew up training in Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines acrobatics, dance, and music. Zaleski transitioned to MMA at age 20 and started competing professionally soon after. His Capoeira history also led to him being nicknamed Capoeira. Eliseu Zaleski dos Santos joined the UFC in 2015 after defending his Jungle Fight Welterweight Championship in Brazil. “Capoeira” dropped his UFC debut via split decision in May 2015. The following year he picked up his first win in the promotion to start a seven-fight streak that included wins over Sean Strickland and Max Griffin. His last fight was a 2021 victory over Benoît Saint-Denis before he was banned.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov
33-year-old Abubakar Nurmagomedov is a Russian mixed martial artist who is the cousin of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nurmagomedov began his professional MMA career in 2011 and fought in regional promotions before making his UFC debut in 2019. He lost his UFC bow to David Zawada via first-round submission. He bounced back in 2021 with a unanimous decision victory over Jared Gooden. Nurmagomedov is a decorated Combat Sambo wrestler. He has won several bronze medals at the Combat Sambo World Championship and was a Russian national combat sambo champion. His combat sambo training has made him a highly developed wrestler with monster-level skills on the mat. He is also a decent striker and has surprisingly won most of his fights via TKO rather than submission.
