UFC FN 197 – Ben Rothwell vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima – Fight Analysis & Predictions

Two big bad guys will share the octagon at UFC FN 197. Ben Rothwell true veteran in the heavyweight division, will fight with very experienced Brazilian Marcos Lima. Both fighters are amazing finishers, with brutal knocking out power.

Ben Rothwell is already 40 years old, but he earned 3 victories in his previous 5 contests. However, he defeated Onvice St. Preux via split decision, Struve via TKO, and the last appearance was already very famous Chris Barnett via submission in the second round. His last 4 losses are via unanimous decision against good fighters. He has 28 KO victories and 7 submissions but also suffered 4 KO and 2 submission losses.

Brazilian is a true Banger but betrays Brazilians. Out of 7 losses, 5 are via submissions and only have 2 submission victories. All his losses in the UFC are via submissions. However, 13 out of 18 victories he earned via KO. In his previous 5 contests, he earned 3 victories but suffered losses against Alexander Romanov and Stefan Struve. I think that Brazilian will earn another early victory in this bout, even though he is considered the underdog. Ben is already very aged, and after suffering 4 unanimous decision losses, it is time for him to suffer KO loss. American Top Team product has really good boxing, just like Rothwell, but it is easier for Brazilians to finish aged Rothwell in striking.
