The Heat have improved a lot in recent times. They have three consecutive wins under their belt and the second one came against their Sunday rivals. In their last game, they defeated Hurricanes by 12 runs. Brisbane scored 162 runs but due to some impressive bowling, the Hurricanes only managed to score 150 runs. With two games left in the competition, they have managed to somehow make a point to go into the playoffs after spending the majority of the time at the bottom of the table. A win is a must to keep their dreams alive to reach the next stage of the competition.

The stars are currently sitting at the bottom of the BBL table with three wins in 12 games so far this season. With only two games left in the league fixtures, the chance of making it to the playoffs is nil. They lost their last two games one against Renegades by six runs after failing to score 163 runs in 20 overs. The other was against the same Heats itself which went to the last ball but Heats came away with a victory by three wickets. The team will be looking to go out with a bang and take Heats down with them.

Joe Clarke (wk), Thomas Rogers, Hilton Cartwright, Beau Webster, Marcus Stoinis, Nick Larkin, Clint Hinchliffe, Luke Wood, Brody Couch, Liam Hitcher, Adam Zampa (c)

Melbourne's pitch will favour the batsman. Expect a high-scoring game as it's a do-or-die game for Heats. We expect the toss-winning captain to bat first and put a huge total on the board. The average score of the team batting first is 165 runs. The Heats are hungrier for a win and this will be the perfect opportunity to get it.
