Brisbane Heat vs Perth Scorchers Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │11 JANUARY, 2022

Brisbane Heat will welcome Perth Scorchers in the 37th game of the Big Bash League at Gabba. The teams have had a very contrasting season to this point with Scorchers in the top half and Heats in the bottom half of the table. Who will win?

The Heats have had a poor season so far. They have only won two games out of the eight that they played. Jimmy Peirson's lead side is sitting in the seventh spot out of an eight-team competition. They played their last game against Scorchers themselves where they lost by seven wickets. They did put up a good total of 171 runs at the end of 20 overs but Cameron Bancroft stole the show with his unbeaten 76. Brisbane playoff chances look slim but to have any hopes of going there they would need to win and win big. They will be looking to make a statement and keep their playoff hopes alive with a win over Scorchers.

Perth is having a great BBL with only two defeats in the entire competition. They have won six of their eight games and are sitting in the second spot on the table. With a win in this game against Heats they can leapfrog into first place. The Scorhers' batters are in great form with the openers Cameron Bancroft and Aaron Hardie giving them a great start in the last game. The bowling also looks streamlined with Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff being the sensationalists. They will be looking for pretty much the same and win their second game in a row.

Cameron Bancroft, Stephen Eskinazi, Aaron Hardie, Josh Inglis(w), Ashton Turner(c), Nick Hobson, Cooper Connolly, Matthew Kelly, Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff, Lance Morris

The pitch at Gabba will help the batters with their strokeplay. Expect a high-scoring game with the ball coming onto the bat nicely. The team winning the toss will like to bat first and 200 runs will be a good total to defend. We expect the Scorchers to continue their good form and get another win under their belt.
