 England vs India Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds │17 JULY, 2022

After winning the T20 series, India started the ODIs on a positive note with 10 wicket win in the first game but England came back strongly to win the second game by 100 runs. With the series tied at 1-1 who will have the willpower to go over the line in the last and final ODI?

England after their abysmal performance in the first two T20s came strongly to win the final game of the series. The batting side did not perform well in the first game but the performance improved in the second game when they scored 246 runs but were all out once again. Moeen Ali and Willey had to come to their rescue after the top order collapsed again. They will be looking to do better in the final ODI and would hope that the bowlers will perform the same if not better to demolish the Indian batting side.

Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Joe Root, Liam Livingstone, Jos Buttler (c) (wk), Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Byrdon Carse, Matt Parkinson, Reece Topley

India has done well in the bowling department in both the ODI games so far, it's the batting side that has been inconsistent. Skipper Rohit who scored a half-century in the last game was out without troubling the scorers. Virat Kolhi is not having the best of the days with the bat which is a major concern for India going forward. Some Indian players like SuryaKumar, Hardik, and Jadeja got starts but were not able to convert into something substantial. It will be interesting to see how they fare in the series decider.

Rohit Sharma (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur, Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami

The pitch will be very consistent and there will be something for both the batters and bowlers. Batters will have to settle in before going ballistic. The toss-winning captain will look to bowl first and chase down the target later. We are expecting India to get the job done in the final ODI of the series.

  • India to win for 2.12;
  • Total Under 545.5 for 1.9;
  • W2 After First 15 Overs for 2.00
