India vs. Sri Lanka Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │27 FEBRUARY, 2022

India has always been a competitive side when playing in home conditions, be it Test matches, One Day Internationals or T20s. With Sri Lanka visiting India, it would have been a tricky tour considering the pitches and weak Sri Lankan team, which is still expected to do well in Asian conditions. Sri Lanka is depending upon their top-order batters and spin twins who are capable of luring the match in Sri Lanka’s favor. India is oozing in confidence to take winning momentum in upcoming T20 fixtures. After making 199/2 in the first game, team India would be looking to play with positivity and temperament. Going into the game, India is likely to win and dominate the Lankan lions.

One thing is certain Team India has shifted its mindset towards defending rather than chasing. Rohit Sharma is always seen confident after opting to bat first irrespective of pitch or ground conditions. In the first T20 international, Ishan Kishan came back in form, scoring 89 of just 56 deliveries. The skipper, Rohit Sharma, also contributed to the score by scoring a steady 44 of 32. Shreyas Iyer was also splendid, scoring 57 of 28 balls. In the bowling department, it was Bhuvneshwar Kumar, picking 2 for 9 in his 2 overs spell. Chahal also bowled superbly, picking 1 for 11 in his 3 overs. Indian bowlers were on song pitching the ball in right corridors and on ideal lengths. Going in the next game, Sharma would be expecting the same from his boys.

  • Shreyas Iyer;
  • Ishan Kishan;
  • Rohit Sharma;
  • Yuzvendra Chahal;
  • Bhuvenshwar Kumar.

Sri Lanka is a decent side, which needs a few touchups and tuning. Going in the game against India in 2nd T2O International, Sri Lankans would be expecting a much better performance from their bowlers and top-order batters who were under the radar of Indian players. In the first game, Charith Asalanka was decent, with the bat scoring an almost run-a-ball half-century. Dushmantha Chameera scored quickfire 24 of 14 deliveries, but these contributions weren’t enough as they didn’t help the team to get over the line. Sri Lanka is definitely struggling to bring stability in their batting lineup, which is a matter of concern for them.

  • Charith Asalanka;
  • Dushmantha Chameera;
  • Chamika Karunaratne;
  • Lahiru Kumara;
  • Dasun Shanaka.

It’s quite evident that India is leading the charts against the visitors. Comparing both sides and their batting performances, India is the favorite of winning and making it a 2-0 in the 2nd T20 international.
