Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds │9 MAY, 2022

Mumbai doing all the things to get their frustration of string of losses out by acting as a party pooper for others. Will they be able to do the same against already struggling Kolkata or will Kolkata find a way back into this IPL?

Like every season Mumbai has come alive in the second half of the season. With two wins in two games, they are building for the next season, and what a way to bring up some new talents and culture them. Their last win was impossible with the opposition Gujarat Titans requiring 8 runs in the last 6 balls but Mumbai won the game in the end. They still need to work on their bowling and batting for the next season.

Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Tim David, Kieron Pollard, Daniel Sams, Murugan Ashwin, Kumar Kartikeya, Jasprit Bumrah, Riley Meredith

Kolkata is in a bad shape right now. With only one win in the last seven games, there is something fundamentally wrong for the two-time champions. They were outplayed in their last game against Lucknow in all the departments. Ajinkya Rahane and Sam Billings can open the batting for the Knight riders as the combination of Aaron Finch and Baba Indrajith has not worked out until now.

Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, Sam Billings (wk), Shreyas Iyer (c), Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Anukul Roy, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Tim Southee, Shivam Mavi/Umesh Yadav

Defending on this wicket is tricky as we have seen throughout the season so expect the team winning the toss to bowl first. Pitch will assist batters and with Mumbai having relatively in form batters it will be their game to lose.

  • MI to win for 1.85;
  • Total Over 318.5 for 2.07;
  • Total Runs, Over Number 1 Under 5.5 for 1.91
