India vs Australia Predictions: India are clear favorites to win the game

India will be facing off against Australia in the second game of the four-game test series being held, at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. India dominated in the first game of the series with their impressive spin lineup. Will this trend continue or will Australia level up the series?

India form

India is in their best form and seemed to have settled in all formats of the game. With good stability all-round, former England captain Michael Vaughan has predicted the Indian cricket team to win the series against Australia. They started the series with a dominating performance. Jadeja coming back from the injury was the man of the match after taking five wickets in the first innings. Ashwin showed his class by taking five in the second Australian innings in quick succession. India boasts a very powerful spin lineup in the longest version of the game. India was impressive with the bat as well scoring 400 runs in the innings. The men in blue were able to score plenty of runs with their lower middle order and the tailenders. They are in a good spot to go into the second game of the competition.

The kangaroos came into the series with great form but were humbled by India in all the departments. They only scored 177 and 91 runs in the two innings in the first game. They were not able to pick Indian wickets and were generally not hitting the right lengths while bowling. only Steve Smith and Labuschagne were able to navigate through Indian spinners. These two will again have the responsibility of constructing Aussie innings. Todd Murphy will be making a debut at Delhi as the third Australian spinner and it will be a big task to do well in the first game. Nathan Lyon will have to bring all his experience to the table if Australia is to stand any chance in the series.
