Bangladesh embarrassed the tourists Australia as they beat them 4-1 in the T20I series. The last game was particularly horrible for the Aussies as they were reduced to a total of mere 62 runs while being asked to chase down 122. Shakib Al Hasan bagged the both player of the tournament and the player of the match awards to highlight Bangladesh’s effort.

The series was low scoring all along but the Australian side also lacked balance as the late middle order batsman Dan Christian ended up being the opener in the last game. Australians were unable to cope up with the turning pitches and except Michell Marsh, no batsman made much of an impression. The highest score in the series remained just 131 which Bangladesh made in the first T20I indicating how tough batting was in those pitches. Australia are going through a horrible phase in T20I right now as they have lost 8 of their last 10 games.
