According to a statement from the EuroLeague basketball press office, the tournament's management has decided to cancel the third-place match starting from the 2025/2026 season.
In the last season, the third-place game featured Greek teams Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. Olympiacos won the bronze medal, while Fenerbahçe were crowned the EuroLeague champion for 2024/2025.
