LeBron James Becomes Oldest NBA Player to Score Over 40 Points

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has set a new record in the National Basketball Association (NBA) by scoring 42 points at the age of 40.

In a game against the Golden State Warriors, James reached 42 points, becoming the oldest player in league history to score over 40 points in a game.

The regular-season game ended with a score of 120-112. LeBron added 42 points, 17 rebounds, and eight assists to his stats. Stephen Curry scored 37 points for the Golden State.

Following the trade of Luka Dončić to the Lakers, LeBron stated that the Slovenian is a player of the highest level. Earlier, James had also become the all-time leader in minutes played in NBA history.
