NBA Announces Player Who May Earn $45 Million Bonus for Individual Award

If Evan Mobley, the forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, wins the title of Defensive Player of the Year for the recently concluded regular season, his contract with the team includes a bonus of $45 million.

Last summer, Mobley reached an agreement with the Cavaliers to extend his rookie contract on a maximum five-year deal for a certain amount. As a result, his total contract value is expected to reach $269 million.

In the current regular season, Mobley is averaging 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game.
