Chisora Defeats Wallin to Become IBF Mandatory Challenger

On the night of February 8-9, the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England hosted an IBF heavyweight elimination bout between British boxer Derek Chisora and Sweden's Otto Wallin.

The fight went the full 12 rounds, concluding with Chisora winning by unanimous decision (117-109, 116-110, 114-112).

Wallin's previous match took place in July 2024, where he knocked out Onoriode Ehwarieme in the first round. He now holds a record of 27 wins (15 by knockout) and three losses.

Chisora last stepped into the ring in July 2024, where he clinched a unanimous decision victory over Joseph Joyce. His record stands at 36 wins (23 by knockout) and 13 losses.

The IBF heavyweight championship title currently belongs to Daniel Dubois, who is set to defend his title against Joseph Parker on February 22 in Saudi Arabia.
