Famous Russian boxer Dmitry Kudryashov, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, confidently predicted a win for Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk against British Daniel Dubois in their rematch.
Dmitry Kudryashov exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
Usyk will use his style and boxing skills to draw Dubois into deep water and crush him there. Daniel tends to fade significantly in the second half. Although he hits hard and is aggressive, it’s unlikely he will manage to pressure Usyk for the majority of the fight. Only in the fight will we see if his confidence holds or disappears. It’s tough to hit Oleksandr, and Daniel hasn’t yet been able to maintain his pace throughout the fight. And this time he won't manage it either. Usyk is an extremely tough boxer, and I doubt he can hit him with a right hand like he did Anthony Joshua. He will just tire out and end up on one knee, just like in the first fight.
The bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois is set for July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London. Their first encounter ended with a premature victory for the Ukrainian.
