ESNEWS: Wladimir Klitschko Aims for a Comeback to Break Foreman's Record

Former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko may be looking to return to the ring to break George Foreman’s record. This was revealed by Klitschko’s former promoter Tom Loeffler on the ESNEWS YouTube channel.

Wladimir said he would fight for a title and break George Foreman’s record so we will see. He’s 48, 49 in March. If anyone can do it, Wladimir can do it. I’d like to see him back in the ring.

George Foreman claimed the title in 1994 at the age of 45, making him the oldest champion in heavyweight history.

Klitschko last fought against British boxer Anthony Joshua in April 2017. This bout, which was stopped in the 11th round, ended with Wladimir losing by technical knockout. His professional record includes 64 wins (53 by knockout) and five losses.
