Former Manchester United striker Rooney will help Fury prepare for fight against Usyk

WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury said that the famous British footballer, former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney will take part in his preparation for the fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury to ITV
I talked to Wayne Rooney last night, and he said he's ready. But he's right-handed. Anyway, we're going to bring Wayne in to prepare for Usyk. Am I kidding? No, it's very, very serious. He's agreed and he's going to come to camp for about four weeks to help me out. I'm a big fan of his.

Rooney said earlier that he thinks Tyson is a boxing legend and the best heavyweight in the world who should be knighted.

Fury had his last fight against his compatriot Derek Chisora on December 4. In this fight Tyson won by TKO in the tenth round. He had 33 wins (24 by TKO) and one draw.

Rooney played for England for 15 years (2003-2018) and for Manchester United for 13 years (2004-2017). The player has been playing for Derby since January 2020. The English forward scored seven goals in 36 games for the team.
